At least six children were injured Tuesday night in an A-T-V crash in Runeberg Township in northwest Minnesota. Becker County investigators say an 11-year-old boy driving the side-by-side A-T-V swerved to avoid a dog and the vehicle tipped on its side. A six-year-old boy was flown to the Twin Cities with non-life-threatening injuries and five others were taken to a Park Rapids hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
This is the second accident this month in Becker County involving children driving an A-T-V. On July 4th an eight-year-old girl driving an A-T-V and two four-year-old passengers were seriously injured when they were hit by a car while trying to cross a road near Cotton Lake.
