The San Luis Obispo, California native has played three minor league seasons with the Twins, hitting .292 (218-for-746) with 53 doubles, three triples, 27 home runs, 125 RBI, 127 runs scored, 85 walks, a .364 on-base percentage, a .480 slugging percentage and an .844 OPS in 186 minor league games after being selected by Minnesota with the eighth overall pick in the 2022 First-Year Player Draft out of California Polytechnic State University. Lee will be in uniform for tonight’s game against the Tigers at 7:10 at Target Field, wearing uniform number 72 and looking to make his major league debut.
To make room for Lee on the 40-man roster, the Twins have transferred right-handed pitcher Brock Stewart (right shoulder tendinitis) to the 60-day Injured List.
