(Chaska, MN) — The L-P-G-A Championship begins this morning at Hazeltine Golf Club in Chaska. It’s the second time that Hazeltine has hosted the event after watching Hannah Green win the trophy in 2019. The ladies will be battling for a record $13 million prize purse. 156 players, including 24 of the top 25 ranked players, are in attendance. All 11 L-P-G-A winners from 2026 are part of the field. Nelly Korda is the World No. 1 and is the heavy favorite already winning two majors in 2026. The first tee time is at 7 A-M featuring Detroit Lakes native Kate Smith-Stroh. The tournament runs through Sunday evening.
