The Lynx currently own the league’s best record at 32-8, setting a franchise record for regular-season wins (previously 30), and enter the postseason as the No. 1 seed for the sixth time. With four games remaining in the 2025 season, the Lynx are in position to contend for the most regular-season wins in league history at 34.
Postseason play tips off on Sunday, Sept. 14, in a best-of-three Round 1 series, with the Lynx hosting the opening matchup and a potential Game 3 at Target Center. First-round opponent and game times will be announced at a later date.
The Lynx are chasing a fifth WNBA championship, which would set a new league record for titles. The team is led by 2025 WNBA MVP front-runner Napheesa Collier, who is leading the league in scoring at 23.5 points per game, ranks third in steals (1.8), fourth in blocks (1.6), fifth in field goal percentage (53.7%), and ninth in rebounding (7.5). Collier was named a team captain for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game after receiving the second-most fan votes. The five-time All-Star and reigning Defensive Player or the Year has also earned three Player of the Months honors this season.
