A 26-year-old man will likely receive a nine-year prison sentence after telling a judge that he shot 17 times last September near a downtown Minneapolis light rail station. Just before his trial was to begin, Detroit Davis-Riley admitted he shot two of the six people who were hit that early morning as patrons left downtown clubs with a large number of police officers on duty. Trial for another man involved in the shooting spree is set for June 13th and a third man pleaded guilty last month to assault charges.
