MCCL and other pro-life groups endorse Karin Housley for U-S Senate

March 27, 2018 By Bill Werner

Three major pro-life groups including Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life are endorsing Republican Karin Housley for United State Senate. M-C-C-L’s Andrea Rau says about Housley’s Democratic opponent, “Tina Smith is the abortion senator.”  Rau says abortions increased 22 percent when Smith was a vice president at Planned Parenthood in Minnesota. She says Housley’s pro-life voting record “perfectly reflects the convictions of the great majority of Minnesotans.”

A spokeswoman for the Smith campaign responds Senator Smith has “worked tirelessly to make sure men and women have access to the health care services they need” including “fighting for reproductive freedom and a woman’s right to make her own decisions.”
