(Brainerd, MN) — A suspect is in custody after an apartment fire in Brainerd appears to have been caused by materials for making methamphetamine. The fire broke out Tuesday evening and was quickly contained. Investigators discovered the suspicious materials and identified a 30-year-old man who lived in the building as a suspect. He was arrested this (FRI) morning without incident. The Crow Wing County Health Department is monitoring the apartment clean-up process.
