Doctor Michelle Behr has been named new chancellor for the University of Minnesota Morris, succeeding Jacqueline Johnson who’s retiring after more than ten years in that post. Behr, a three-time Fulbright Scholar, is currently provost and senior vice president at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama. U-of-M President Eric Kaler says he’s thrilled the University is able to attract a leader of Behr’s caliber, pointing to her “broad experience in the liberal arts, deep commitment to students, and engagement in the… higher education community.”
