Wells was reported missing on August 7th, and Inver Grove Heights police believe he is a runaway. He’s described as five feet, four inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. (Superior, WI) — A man is dead, another in custody after a shooting in Superior, Wisconsin, Sunday. Police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residential area around 9:20 p.m., the caller describing a man familiar to them walking around their garage and shining a flashlight through the window. As officers arrived, multiple gunshots were heard. Officers found a man with gunshot wounds lying near the garage who died of his injuries. The suspect fled but was later found at an Iron River residence. The investigation is ongoing.

(Good Thunder, MN) — A southern Minnesota mayor will be sentenced in January after entering a guilty plea in a conflict of interest case. Good Thunder Mayor Robert Anderson pled guilty last month to having a personal interest or personally benefiting from a contract. The gross misdemeanor charge was placed after Anderson’s company was paid more than 17 hundred dollars to haul gravel in an arrangement that was not approved by the city council. He could be sentenced to up to a year in jail and a fine of up to three thousand dollars. Anderson is running for re-election next month and is the only candidate on the ballot.
