Officers learned that a woman inside the home, who may have had a weapon, was incapacitated in the basement with burns. She was airlifted to a burn unit. A man also in the house was taken to the hospital privately with a serious head injury. The Sauk Centre Fire Department extinguished the fire, and some officers were treated for smoke inhalation. The investigation is ongoing, and search warrants were executed at the scene.

(Lincoln, NE) — Drought conditions continue to improve slightly in Minnesota. The new U-S Drought Monitor map shows 41 percent of the state is in a moderate drought, down from 46 percent last week. (Brooklyn Park, MN) — Brooklyn Park police are searching for an endangered missing teen. 19-year-old Dylan Schreiber was last seen leaving his Brooklyn Park group home yesterday (THURS) around 10 a.m. Schreiber is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 210 pounds, with blue eyes. He was last seen wearing all black clothing. There’s concern for his health, as he’s without his medication.
