>>Road Closures, Delays Planned in Superior National Forest

(Duluth, MN) — Travelers in the Superior National Forest should expect road closures and delays starting in May and continuing through the fall. Forest officials say construction projects will temporarily shut down parts of Forest Roads 304 and 459 for about two weeks each to replace culverts. The work on Road 459 will impact access to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness at the Mudro Lake entry point later this year. Meanwhile, ongoing bridge work on Forest Road 152 will cause intermittent delays, with a temporary bypass in place. Officials say the projects are aimed at improving safety and access, and drivers should plan ahead for changing conditions.

(Falcon Heights, MN) — Country music singer HARDY is headlining the State Fair Grandstand Concert Series on Friday, September 4th.   HARDY just opened for Morgan Wallen at U-S Bank Stadium on April 11th.  He’s co-written songs for Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, and Wallen.  HARDY’s biggest hit is “Unapologetically Country as Hell.”  His opening act is McCoy Moore.  Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. through Etix.
