The proposed bill is the next chapter in a growing battle between Washington and ticketing services. In November, the U-S Justice Department launched an investigation into LiveNation for what they call “anti-competitive practices.” In October, President Joe Biden and FTC chair Linda Khan proposed an outright ban on hidden fees across all industries.
