Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to a report of a man pointing a gun at a woman. When officers arrived, the suspect came out holding a handgun and ignored commands to drop it. One officer fired two rounds, but no one was hit. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Hennepin County Jail. The B-C-A is investigating, and the officer is on administrative leave.

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota B-C-A has identified the man and five Bloomington officers involved in a use-of-force incident last Wednesday (12/3. Officials say 21-year-old Joshua Rocha of Savage fired shots from inside his vehicle after a pursuit and PIT maneuver. Officers returned fire and later used an armored vehicle to take Rocha into custody. Investigators recovered a rifle, a handgun, and ammunition from the car. The officers, now on leave, include Sgt. Jeremy Pilcher and Officers David Rodriguez, Carson Sanchez, Taylor Huss, and John Bunnell. The case will be reviewed by the Hennepin County Attorney.

Saunders says you should also transfer the tree to your garage first and make a fresh cut before putting it into your home.
