During the pause, new license applications will be halted, and pending applications canceled, though exceptions will be considered to maintain access statewide. D-H-S has also taken steps to combat fraud, including stricter oversight of high-risk Medicaid services, provider disenrollment, and pausing licenses for other home-based care programs.
