>>Authorities Searching for Missing 11-Year-Old in Bemidji

(Bemidji, MN) – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old boy who went missing Sunday afternoon in Bemidji. Officials say Shayne Jacobs was reported as a runaway and was last seen on foot around 4:45 p.m. Jacobs is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, black pants, and carrying a black backpack. Authorities note that temperatures in Bemidji dropped to minus eight degrees Fahrenheit overnight, raising concern for the boy’s safety. Anyone with information about Jacobs’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Bemidji Police Department. 

 

>>Brooklyn Park Police Search for Missing Woman

(Brooklyn Park, MN) – Brooklyn Park police are searching for a missing 32-year-old woman. Hanna Don was last seen on Tuesday, December 2nd, around 7 p.m., leaving a residential area. She’s described as Asian, five feet five inches tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Hanna was last seen wearing a top saying “lift the lid” in white letters, black sweatpants, black boots, and a black backpack.

 

>>Man Dead, Woman Arrested in St. Cloud Stabbing 

(St. Cloud, MN) – Police in St. Cloud are investigating a stabbing early today that left a man dead. Officers called to a domestic incident found a man dead of a stab wound in an apartment. Investigators say a 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene. The two were in a relationship, and authorities say there is no threat to the community.  

 

>>Forest Lake Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Interstate 35-E 

(Lino Lakes, MN) – A Forest Lake man is dead after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening on Interstate 35-E in Lino Lakes. The Minnesota State Patrol says the victim’s car went off the road, and he got out and was hit by an SUV in the lanes of traffic. The 66-year-old man died at the scene. Troopers say the Centerville man driving the SUV wasn’t hurt. The report says alcohol was not involved. 

 

>>Two Hurt in Redwood County Crash

(Redwood County, MN) – Two people are in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Friday evening. Redwood County deputies say icy roads caused a Dodge Ram to lose control and enter the opposite lane on County Road 11 around 5:36 p.m. A Chevy Traverse then hit the truck head-on. The driver of the Ram, 53-year-old Holly Reigstad, and a passenger in the Traverse, 23-year-old Hannah Sturgeon, were taken to a local hospital. No other information is available.

 

>>Hit-and-Run Crash Near Willmar Injures Passenger

(Willmar, MN) – A hit-and-run crash east of Willmar left one person injured Saturday evening.  The Minnesota State Patrol reports the incident happened around 6:30 p.m., about three miles east of Willmar on Highway 12. A vehicle driven by 41-year-old Asanett Hernandez of Windom was traveling east when it was struck by a Chevy pickup truck, which then fled the scene heading east. A passenger in Hernandez’s car, 43-year-old Esteban Ortiz, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Hernandez was not hurt. Authorities say the crash remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.

 

>>Senator Lucero Running for Re-Election in West Metro

(St. Michael, MN) – Republican State Senator Eric Lucero is running for re-election in the 2026 general election. Lucero serves Senate District 30, which includes St. Michael, Albertville, Elk River, and Otsego. Lucero was first elected to the Senate in 2022. Lucero’s platform includes cybersecurity, stopping fraud, increasing capital transparency, and making life more affordable for families. Lucero calls the next election year “pivotal for the future of our great state.”

 

>>Commerce Department Announces Grants to Protect Minnesota’s Electric Grid

(St. Paul, MN) – The Minnesota Department of Commerce is awarding more than $5 million in grants to protect Minnesota’s electric grid system. This money will be used to make the power supply stronger against severe weather events, malicious physical attacks, and cyber threats. The grants provide up to $250,000 per project to municipal and cooperative electric utilities to strengthen their distribution systems, increase capacity, and reduce power outages. In total, 28 different grants were awarded across the state. The money comes from the State Grid Resilience Grant Program, which is fully funded by the state.

 

>>Wolves Look to Extend Win Streak vs. Suns at Target Center 

(Minneapolis, MN) – The Minnesota Timberwolves ride a five-game win streak into tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns at Target Center. The Wolves lost to the Suns 114-113 on November 22nd after giving up an eight-point lead with 50 seconds remaining. Suns forward Dillon Brooks is listed as questionable tonight with a sore ankle, and Devin Booker is out with a groin strain. Minnesota is 15-8 while Phoenix has a 13-10 record.
