(Fargo, ND) — The Fargo Fire Department says a female was rescued from the Red River Sunday afternoon. Captain Ben Willey says around 3:20 p.m., someone called to report a person was in the river and needed help. Fargo and Moorhead Police and Fire crews responded and used Moorhead Fire’s boat to bring the female to shore on the Fargo side. Willey says the female was alert when Sanford Ambulance took her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other information has been released.

(Dakota County, MN) — It’s been one year since Nicole “Nikki” Anderson of Dakota County went missing. Nikki was last seen alive on July 6th, 2024, leaving her home in Randolph Township to walk down the driveway and check the mail. Since then, numerous extensive searches of the home, property belonging to Nikki’s ex-boyfriend, and the local area, conducted with drones and K9s, have yielded no results. Nikki’s ex-boyfriend was labeled a person of interest by deputies, but no arrests have been made. There’s a fifty-thousand-dollar reward for a tip leading to Nikki’s location or the prosecution of someone in her disappearance.

(Taconite, MN) — A motorcyclist is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries suffered in a three-vehicle crash Sunday on Highway 169 in Itasca County. The State Patrol says a car was stopped making a left turn in Taconite, and a pickup hauling a boat stopped behind it when a southbound motorcycle tried to stop but hit the ship. The rider – 57-year-old Jerry Music of Taconite – was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in the Twin Cities with life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt in the crash.

>>ATV Crash Near Emily Injures Two

(Emily, MN) — One man was seriously hurt in an ATV crash on July 4th in Crow Wing County. Deputies were called around 6:30 p.m. to the area of Minnie Lake Drive and Crooked Creek Road in Emily. Authorities say the ATV was headed northeast when it veered off the road, hit several trees, and rolled. The driver, a 37-year-old man from Minneapolis, suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to a Duluth hospital. A 12-year-old boy from Blaine, who was riding as a passenger, had minor injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital.

(Winona, MN) — No one was injured after a large fire at a Winona manufacturing plant this morning. Crews responded to the fire around midnight at Core Molding Technologies. Flames were found to have reached the roof and ductwork, but they were mostly contained within these areas. The cause is under investigation. No other information is available.

Organizers posted that no more attendees could enter just ten minutes before the main act, Ludacris, took the stage. The Nicollet Mall and Washington Ave area was packed, with food truck lines weaving in between concertgoers. Ludacris performed for about an hour and a half.
