Police say Waeys Mohamed is nonverbal and was last seen Sunday morning near the Chorus Apartments. Crews focused on Minnehaha Creek Sunday, which is in the same area. Authorities are asking local residents to check their surveillance videos for any signs of Mohamed. He’s Black, about three-and-a-half feet tall, weighs around 40 pounds, has black curly hair, and only wears blue pajama pants. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 right away.

(Rochester, MN) — A former Mayo Clinic doctor accused of killing his wife will be back in court this week. A hearing for 30-year-old Connor Bowman is set for tomorrow in Rochester. Bowman’s attorney recently filed over a dozen motions to suppress evidence in the case. He also wants a first-degree murder charge dismissed for lack of evidence. Bowman is accused of using a drug used to treat gout to poison his wife, Betty, who died last August.

(Foley, MN) — A man was hurt in an incident involving the use of recreational firearms. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office says on Saturday at about 9:30 p.m.; they got a call that a bystander had been hurt while another person was shooting a rifle in a field in Maywood Township. The victim was 26-year-old Collin Schumacher of Oak Park. He had substantial injuries to his abdomen. There was a group of individuals in the field using guns and tannerite. Schumacher’s injuries resulted from shrapnel produced when a large quantity of tannerite was detonated inside a metal barrel. Schumacher was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital.

(Freeborn County, MN) — An Albert Lea man is dead after a vehicle vs. Freightliner semi-truck crash Saturday morning. The Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) identified the vehicle driver as 24-year-old Oscar Ramirez. Officials say Ramirez and a semi were traveling west on I-90 near Mile Post 160 when they collided around 1:40 a.m. Officials say Ramirez was not wearing a seatbelt.

The national average diesel price has fallen 6.7 cents in the last week and is $3.75 per gallon.

When a TSA agent started pulling the SPAM cans from his carry-on, he told the agent that the cans came “straight from the factory” and included special flavors like teriyaki. The agent performed a test on the cans before letting him through. The video has been viewed nearly 500-thousand times and has generated more than three-thousand comments.
