>>Reward Being Offered in Wadena Cold Case

(Wadena, MN) — A reward is being offered in hopes of generating new leads in the decades-old disappearance of a Wadena woman. Spotlight on Crime and law enforcement officials will announce this afternoon(1:30 pm) that up to $25,000 is available for information in the case of Carla Beth Anderson. Anderson was 23-years-old when she vanished from her Wadena apartment sometime between the evening of November 13th and the afternoon of November 14, 1987. Despite years of investigation, no arrests have been made, and Anderson has never been found.

(Duluth, MN) — The Duluth Seaway Port Authority is once again being recognized as one of North America’s top environmental performers. The Port Authority earned a score of 3.38 in the Green Marine 2025 Performance Report, leading all U.S. Great Lakes ports and ranking among the top performers on the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System. Officials say the score reflects continued improvements in areas including emissions reductions, spill prevention and waste management, despite tougher environmental standards. The Port Authority has participated in the voluntary Green Marine certification program since 2007.

>>Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Fergus Falls

(Fergus Falls, MN) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Fergus Falls on Sunday. A passing driver reported they saw a motorcycle on its side in the grass on the south side of the road. They stopped and found a male unresponsive near a tree. Once officers arrived, they determined the 26-year-old male was deceased. The victim’s name has not been released.

>>Two Teens Seriously Injured in Wadena County Crash

(Wadena, MN) — Two teenagers suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash near Wadena Saturday evening. The Minnesota State Patrol says 18-year-old Tanner Schulke of Verndale and 17-year-old Jadyn Woida of Brandon were injured when the car they were traveling in collided with a pickup truck just after 5 p.m. Both teens were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for treatment. The driver of the pickup and a juvenile passenger were not injured.

>>Motorcyclist, Passenger Injured After Hitting Deer Near New York Mills

(New York Mills, MN) — Two New York Mills residents were injured Saturday morning when their motorcycle collided with a deer south of the city. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Eric Engler and 55-year-old Rebecca Engler were traveling north when a deer crossed the road. Both were thrown from the Harley-Davidson as it overturned. They were taken by ambulance to Perham Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say both riders were wearing helmets and proper safety gear.

>>Gas Prices Drop Third Straight Week

(St. Louis Park, MN) – Good news for Minnesota drivers. Gas prices have dropped for three straight weeks. AAA (Triple A) reports the average price for a gallon of unleaded is now $3.86 across Minnesota. Prices have dropped 11 cents a gallon since last week, and are 55 cents cheaper than a month ago. The national average is still above $4 a gallon.

>>DFL Delegates Deny Endorsement to Hennepin County Sheriff

(Minneapolis, MN) — Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt failed to secure the DFL endorsement at Saturday’s county convention, leaving the party without an endorsed candidate in the race. Witt received 58 percent of the delegate vote, just shy of the 60 percent needed, before withdrawing after several rounds of balloting. Delegates were divided over her handling of Operation Metro Surge and immigration enforcement. In the race for Hennepin County Attorney, delegates endorsed State Representative Cedrick Frazier.
