The family who runs the nearby Dam Store and cafe owned the home. The dam suffered a side breach Monday, which sent water rushing over the west side of the dam.

(Blaine, MN) — Anoka County authorities say two people are dead after a car vs. motorcycle crash Tuesday night in Blaine. The police report says the car attempted to turn left onto a city street when it collided with a motorcycle carrying two riders. Officers say the man driving the cycle was dead at the scene, and a female passenger died in the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle is hospitalized in stable condition. No further information is being released.
