The criminal complaint states Daniel O’Day did not file income tax returns or pay income tax from 2018 through 2022 despite making enough money at his business, O’Day Transportation. O’Day allegedly owes over $97,000 in income tax. He faces a maximum penalty of 50 years in prison, a $100,000 fine, or both.

The Twin Cities Pride Festival is on Saturday and Sunday in Loring Park in Minneapolis.

(Alexandria, MN) — Alexandria police are searching for suspects who dislodged and emptied an ATM outside a local bank. The crime happened early yesterday morning near Glenwood State Bank. Officers found the ATM empty and away from its usual location. Police say a white pickup truck was used in the crime. A driver in another SUV picked up the masked suspects and drove away. Authorities are asking anyone in the area who saw something suspicious at that time or has video surveillance to call them at 320-763-6631.

(Blue Earth County, MN) — Blue Earth County is giving support to a family that saw its home near the Rapidan Dam washed away on Tuesday. The Hruska family has operated the Rapidan Dam Store alongside the Blue Earth River for over 50 years. The family’s home fell into the river after water rushing around the west end of the compromised dam ate away the riverbank. A GoFundMe account for the Hruska family has raised over five thousand dollars so far and hopes to reach its goal of 200 thousand dollars. A relief fund for the family has also been created at MinnStar Bank, which accepts donations in Mankato and Lake Crystal.

The hospital system recently signed a deal with Zipline, the world’s largest commercial drone delivery company. Mayo’s goal is to start same-day delivery of medications to patients’ doorsteps in 2025.

The Holiday store will get a five-thousand-dollar bonus for selling the winning ticket. The previous Gopher 5 record of more than two million dollars was won by 22 co-workers from the Watonwan County Public Works Department in November 2005. The prize must be claimed at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville.
