(Hibbing, MN) — Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan is campaigning for U-S Senate today (Tues) in northeastern Minnesota. Flanagan is hosting what she calls “kitchen table conversations” at 2:15 this afternoon in Hibbing and 6:15 tonight in Duluth. She’s also scheduled to visit Rochester tomorrow (Wed). The campaign says Flanagan wants to hear from Minnesotans about the issues they discuss with their families and neighbors. She hopes to win the seat of U-S Senator Tina Smith in 2026.

>>Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Fleeing Sherburne County Sheriff’s Deputy

(Becker, MN) — A motorcyclist is dead after crashing while fleeing authorities late Monday night near Becker in Sherburne County. The Minnesota State Patrol says a sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop the motorcycle for a traffic violation on Highway 10 when it crashed into a pickup. The motorcyclist died at the scene. Troopers say the truck driver from Minneapolis wasn’t hurt.

(Anoka County, MN) — A woman is dead, and a man is seriously injured after a crash in Anoka Monday. Police responded to a motor vehicle crash around 6:33 p.m. Investigators say a man driving a westbound minivan collided with a woman driving an eastbound sedan. Life-saving aid was given, but the woman was pronounced dead. The man was brought to a hospital in serious condition.

(Rochester, MN) — A Rochester man faces felony charges for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). On February 18th, Rochester Police received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and began investigating 37-year-old Wolf Parsons. Parsons’ home was searched on March 7th, and Parsons was arrested on Monday.

>>Woman Sentenced For Drowning Her Infant Child In Bloomington Hotel

(Bloomington, MN) — A woman who pleaded guilty to drowning her infant in a Bloomington hotel is going to prison. Esparanza Harding has been sentenced to 32 years behind bars. The 21-year-old defendant is expected to serve the first 20 years in prison and the remainder of the time on supervised release. The child’s body was never found after prosecutors said the remains were thrown in a landfill in Inver Grove Heights. Harding’s boyfriend, Edwin Trudeau, pleaded guilty to aiding an offender last month. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 5.

(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings are busy as free agency begins in the N-F-L. The Vikes re-signed Pro Bowl cornerback Byron Murphy, Junior, to a three-year, 66-million-dollar contract. The Purple are adding four-time Pro Bowl center Ryan Kelly from the Colts on a two-year, 18-million-dollar deal, and Eagles cornerback Isaiah Rogers is coming to Minnesota on a two-year contract worth 15 million. Quarterback Sam Darnold left the Vikings for a three-year, 100-million-dollar deal with the Seahawks, and safety Cam Bynum signed a four-year contract with the Colts for up to 60 million dollars
