>>Minnesotans Encouraged to Check 2025 Medicare Coverage Plans
(St. Paul, MN) — One day after warning Minnesotans to check their 2025 Medicare coverage plans, Attorney General Keith Ellison sent a letter to Humana, requesting the health insurer correct alleged misformation that was reportedly shared with consumers. The Minnesota Star Tribune reported that Humana listed certain providers, including Essentia and Sanford, as in-network for their Medicare Advantage plans. These providers had already announced they were not part of those plans. With all this confusion, the attorney general advised families to go through the Medicare plans together this Thanksgiving Day weekend. Because of the changes, some healthcare providers will not be included in next year’s Medicare Advantage plans. That could leave many Minnesotans holding the bill. The deadline to sign up for next year is December 7.
