(Cokato, MN) — The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing near Cokato Tuesday night that left a man hospitalized. Deputies were told the man was stabbed in the neck by another household member. The victim suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital. Investigators say the 24-year-old suspect was later arrested for violating a protection order and pending assault charges.

(Dilworth, MN) — ABC 123 daycare in Dilworth has abruptly closed. Parents found out in a text message saying the facility would not be open. Since September 2020, the Minnesota Department of Human Services found various violations, including not supervising the children, a staff member hitting a child for not putting on their seatbelt, and staff not ensuring infants were safely positioned during nap time. DHS says the closure is not the result of any licensing action and that license holders may lose their licenses for various reasons.

(Central Lakes, MN) — A missing hunter is safe, thanks to local and state officials. Around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, St. Louis County Deputies and Rescue Squad responded to a report of a lost hunter near Achor Lake Rest Stop in Central Lakes on Highway 53. 77-year-old Douglas Mihm of Eveleth had been bird hunting since 9 a.m. and had not returned. Minnesota State Patrol and Aircraft also assisted in finding and rescuing Mihm, cold and uninjured, around 9:30 p.m.

(Chanhassen, MN) — A Red Flag Warning is in effect today (Tues 11-7) for 18 counties in the southwest, west-central, and south-central Minnesota due to extreme fire danger. The National Weather Service says fires can spread quickly and out of control with high winds and low humidity. Outdoor burning is not allowed in the Red Flag Warning area. Affected counties include Big Stone, Blue Earth, Brown, Cottonwood, Faribault, Jackson, Lac Qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, Martin, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Redwood, Rock, Traverse, Watonwan, and Yellow Medicine.

(Randolph Township, MN) — Authorities have announced an increase in the reward for information about a missing Dakota County woman. Fifty-six-year-old Nicole “Nikki” Anderson has been missing since July 6th. She was last seen at her home in Randolph Township and was not carrying her phone, wallet, or medication. Private parties have pledged an additional $40,000 for information that leads to Anderson, bringing the total reward to $45,000.

The group is calling out Klobuchar for her policy decisions that have “time and time again put Israel first.” On September 18th, Israel rigged Lebanese communication devices with explosives, which were detonated once they reached Lebanon and killed and wounded hundreds.
>>Man Pleads Guilty to Role in Fatal Shooting of Eden Prairie Firefighter
(Minneapolis, MN) — A 29-year-old man has pleaded guilty to his role in the fatal May shooting of an Eden Prairie firefighter. Marquise Hammonds-Ford pleaded guilty to one count of illegal firearm possession as a felon; the plea deal sentenced him to six and a half years in prison. Joseph Johns was killed outside a bar in Minneapolis on May 5th while he was off-duty. Officials believe there was an altercation and then a shootout between two groups of men. Dalla Villarreal-Griffin, a co-defendant facing one count of first-degree riot, will begin his trial in November.
