During the next four months, people visiting Minnesota’s courthouses for whatever reason will be encouraged to fill out a survey on how the state’s judicial branch is doing. Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Lorie Gildea says, “They’ll be asked whether finding the courthouse was easy, whether the forms they needed were clear, were they treated with courtesy and respect, was their case handled fairly, and do they know what to do next about their case.” Chief Justice Gildea adds, “I just would like to encourage everybody who has a chance to take this survey to do so, because… Minnesotans’ feedback is really, really important to us in the judiciary, and so I hope we get a great response rate.”
Surveys will be on a rolling basis throughout Minnesota’s courthouses until the end of March. People can also fill out the survey on-line.
