A Minnesota man is among the dead in Saturday’s mass shooting in Las Vegas, the worst in U-S history. Steve Berger, a financial advisor from Shorewood, was in Las Vegas to celebrate his 44th birthday, says his father Richard. Berger is the father of three children, ages 8, 11 and 15. And a former Saint Paul resident, Richard Aurich, remains in critical condition after being wounded in the attack. A family member says her brother-in-law opened his eyes and was breathing on his own after a second surgery. Mandi and Tom Hinson from Breezy Point reportedly escaped over a fence during the shooting and were driven away by another person.
