The Minnesota Supreme Court has reprimanded Assistant Mower County Attorney Scott Springer from Austin and he’ll be on probation for two years. The director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility filed the petition for disciplinary action against Springer alleging he committed professional misconduct — namely, failing to maintain all required trust account books and records, and failing to deposit client funds in trust, resulting in shortages in the trust account and negligent misappropriation of client funds. Springer admitted to the allegations.
