With a month still left to go, Minnesota’s traffic deaths so far in 2015 stand at 365, higher than all of last year. State Patrol Lieutenant Tiffani Schweigart says as of today, about 40 more people have died on Minnesota roads than at the same point last year — and another month of potential winter driving still remains in the year. Motorcycle, pedestrian and bicycle fatalities are all up significantly from last year. Schweigart urges everyone to avoid distractions, buckle up, watch your speed and don’t drink and drive.
