Minnesota’s voter turnout in the presidential election was the highest in the nation at 75 percent, but not the highest in state history. Tuesday’s report from the State Canvassing Board also says that, of about two-million, 968-thousand ballots cast, roughly 678 thousand were early votes, absentee votes or mail-in ballots. The Board met to officially certify election results. Meanwhile in neighboring Wisconsin, Hillary Clinton wants to join Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein’s lawsuit demanding a hand recount. Clinton lost to Donald Trump by about 22-thousand votes in the Badger State.
