A Minnesotan was among the six U-S service members who died this week in a suicide bomb attack in Afghanistan. 36-year old Air Force Major Adrianna Vorderbruggen was from Plymouth but was living in the Washington D-C area. A motorbike draped with explosives rammed into her patrol on Monday. Vorderbruggen, who had a wife and four year old son, is also said to be the nation’s first openly gay American to be killed in combat.
