Missouri woman charged with stealing UND police squad

Charges have been filed against a Missouri woman accused of stealing a University of North Dakota police car and crashing it. 23-year-old Kasandra Ellis of Columbia, is charged with DWI and possession of stolen property. She’ll also face charges in Grand Forks County. Police say Ellis stole the car early Sunday near Ralph Engelstad Arena and later rolled it near the University of Minnesota Crookston campus. She was treated for her injuries. The squad was totaled.
