MN advocates to Christine Blasey Ford: “We believe you”

September 28, 2018 By Bill Werner

Advocates stood together at a downtown Saint Paul hotel this afternoon in support of Doctor Christine Blasey Ford, as the F-B-I investigates sexual assault allegations she made against U-S Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh — who categorically denies those accusations. Joelle Casteix with the Zero Abuse Project says, “Dr. Ford is a very, very brave woman. And what is happening right now may be scaring many other victims into shame and silence…. Being a victim of sexual abuse is never the fault of the victim — it’s the fault of the abuser.”

Attorney Jeff Anderson echoed, “To every survivor out there, from Christine Blasey Ford, and on the shoulders of Anita Hill and all those that have gone before, we stand together, in solidarity and in gratitude.”
