MN-DOT kicks off 2018 construction season

April 4, 2018 By Bill Werner

253 projects across Minnesota totaling 1.1 billion dollars are on MN-DOT’s road and bridge construction agenda this year. State Patrol Chief, Colonel Matt Langer says construction won’t leave any part of the state untouched this summer.  Langer says, “We have people out there in those work zones on foot doing their job, focusing on their job while also in danger along the road. And so our simple message is, we just want people to slow down and pay attention.”  Officials say they don’t forsee the late spring affecting project completion.
