A graduate of Minneota High School faces manslaughter and controlled substances charges after fatally shooting his brother in Sioux Falls, South Dakota early Monday morning. 27-year-old Jeremy Eischens is charged in the death of his 24-year-old brother, Brandon. Police spokesman Sam Clemens says, “Jeremy was actually planning on making a drug run to Colorado, and Brandon went to Jeremy’s apartment to loan him his car. Something happened — we’re not exactly sure what — but Jeremy ended up shooting Brandon.” Clemens says investigators believe it was reckless use of a firearm and that Jeremy was drunk and high at the time — but he says they “haven’t found anything to think that this was any type of intentional act.”
