Republicans in the Minnesota House have rolled out a 600-million-dollar bonding proposal for state public works projects which is less than half the 1.5 billion dollars that Governor Mark Dayton is requesting. House Capital Investment Committee Chairman Dean Urdahl says the focus is on improving infrastructure and sticking with priorities during what is *not* a bonding year. 240 million dollars in the bill would go for transportation projects, which Democrats argue should be funded a different way and just takes away from other important projects.
