Minnesota House leaders say they will not make public the results of an independent investigation into allegations of sexual harassment against former state Representative Tony Cornish. House Speaker Kurt Daudt, Republican Majority Leader Joyce Peppin and Democratic Minority Leader Melissa Hortman cite “privacy concerns for those participating in the process and the potential chilling effect on future reports.” Cornish, a Republican from Vernon Center, resigned in late November after at least two woman accused him of sexual misconduct. Cornish refused to be interviewed by investigators.
