“At face value it sounds like a good choice, says Minnesota House Speaker, Republican Kurt Daudt (DOWT) about Donald Trump naming Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his vice-presidential running mate. Daudt adds, “Hopefully we’ll have some good debates on issues over the course of the next few months.” Daudt says he doesn’t know if the choice of Pence, a staunch conservative, will pull any reluctant Minnesota delegates Trump’s way. The Clinton campaign says Trump has chosen an “incredibly divisive and unpopular running mate.”
