Leaders of Minnesota’s Islamic community say they condemn in the strongest possible terms the attack by a gunman in Orlando that left dozens dead. Jaylani Hussein with the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations says, “In this difficult time it’s important that communities come together and recognize that these types of actions, this type of terroristic attack, no faith and no religion supports any actions like this.” Hussein says the Council sends condolences to the victims and their families, and hopes for a speedy recovery for those who were injured.
