(Inver Grove Heights, MN) — A Minnesota lawmaker wants increased regulations on popular fantasy sports betting operators like FanDuel and Draft Kings. Democratic Representative Joe Atkins from Inver Grove Heights says he thinks the sites ought to be legal, as long as they’re fair and as long as there is no insider information or cheating going on. Atkins says players would be better protected if fantasy sports operators were required to be licensed in Minnesota and subject to background checks and other audits.
