The Minnesota Supreme Court has thrown out a permanent total workers’ comp award to former Vikings defensive lineman Al Noga, who claimed his dementia is related to multiple concussions while on the team. The court ruled the Vikings’ treatment of Noga’s headaches with over-the-counter medicines was sufficient and his 2015 claim was filed too late. The high court added Noga tackled with a “headfirst style” even in high school and suffered from headaches then.
