Denver guard Jamal Murray poured in 43 points in the victory, while Nikola Jokic finished with a triple-double of 25 points, 19 rebounds, and ten assists. Denver improved to 2-1. Jaden McDaniels led Minnesota with 25 points, while Julius Randle had 24 in the losing effort. The Wolves dropped to 2-2 and will host the Los Angeles Lakers tomorrow night at 8:30 P-M.

The team says the star player will be reevaluate in one week. Edwards suffered the injury in the first quarter of Minnesota’s win over Indiana on Sunday. The 24-year-old is averaging 25-point-seven points per game this season.

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota United are a win away from advancing in the M-L-S Playoffs after a win over the Seattle Sounders at Allianz Field in St. Paul. The match was scoreless through regulation, and Minnesota beat Seattle 3-2 in penalty kicks. The United have a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three first round series. The next match will be in Seattle next Monday.

(Eagan, MN) — Minnesota Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz will be out for the remainder of the 2025 campaign. The team announced yesterday that the signal-caller will undergo season-ending surgery on his shoulder later this week. Wentz has started the last five games for the Vikings after J-J McCarthy injured his ankle in Week Two. He passed for 1,216 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions this season. McCarthy is expected to return as Minnesota’s starter this weekend against the Lions. Game time is noon. In other team news, the Vikes claimed Green Bay tight end Ben Sims from waivers. Freeman finished a game that was tied for the longest World Series game in history 2-for-7 with two runs driven in. Shohei Ohtani was 4-for-4 with two homers, three runs scored and three R-B-I. He also tied the Major League postseason record for most times on base in a single game with nine. Will Klein earned the win on the mound after tossing four scoreless innings of relief to help the Dodgers take a 2-1 series lead. Game Four is tonight in L-A.
