A man, his daughter and her boyfriend have been arrested in Moorhead in what police call a “significant” drug operation linked to at least one death in Fargo. Deputy Police Chief Tory Jacobson says, “We know that these individuals that have been been trafficking narcotics here in Moorhead are directly linked to at least one reported previous overdose, so we acted quickly.”
Authorities seized 26 bags of “black tar”, 19 bags of meth, plus prescription pills. Court documents say the “Longoria Family” has been under investigation for five years. Jacobson says, “They have a[n] extensive history and this is a very strong case and an important one.”
Jacobson says additional arrests are possible.
