>> In St. Cloud, police say a man’s body was found Thursday on the banks of the Mississippi River. The body turned up near the Granite City Crossing Bridge. Investigators do not suspect foul play.
>> Minneapolis Police Chief Janeé Harteau has sent a letter to Twin Cities Pride, calling its decision to exclude officers from marching in Sunday’s Twin Cities parade “divisive.” Pride officials asked officers not to take part in the celebration after the acquittal of former officer Jeronimo Yanez in the shooting of Philando Castile. Harteau says that decision hurts LGBTQ members of the police department.
>> A teenager from east-central Minnesota who was missing since Wednesday has been found. The Pioneer Press reports 16-year old Kaine Martinez of Cambridge, described as vulnerable was found safe late Thursday by Isanti County authorities and volunteers.
>> Two men were arrested on suspicion of throwing fireworks at Minneapolis Police officers this week. It happened during a protest at the Fourth Precinct in North Minneapolis. Two officers suffered minor injuries.
