>>Omar wins Primary Election Rematch by Wider Margin over Samuels
(Undated) — Fifth District Congresswoman Ilhan Omar bested challenger Don Samuels by 13 points (56 percent to 43) in Tuesday’s Democratic primary in a race that grabbed national attention — meaning the member of “The Squad” targeted by Republicans will almost certainly win the November election in that deep-blue district. Some G-O-P activists urged Republicans to “cross over” and vote for Samuels in the primary to help defeat Omar. Republican-endorsed U.S. Senate candidate Royce White said he would “gladly give up 5,000 votes in the CD5 primary to accomplish this goal.”

>>Walz Fundraising in Denver and Boston after Defending Military Service Record at L-A Appearance
(Undated) — Governor Tim Walz has fundraisers in Denver and Boston today (Wed), in the middle of his three-day, five-state sweep for the Harris-Walz ticket. Yesterday at the AFSCME (AFFS-mee) government employees union convention in Los Angeles, the governor responded to Republican opponent J-D Vance, who accused Walz of dropping out of the Army when he was asked to go to Iraq. “I firmly believe you should never denigrate another person’s service record. To anyone brave enough to put on that uniform for our great country, including my opponent, I just have a few simple words: Thank you for your service and sacrifice.” Walz says he left the Guard after 24 years because “I felt the call of duty again, this time of being (of) service to my country in the halls of Congress.” Vance says, “When the U-S Marine Corps asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it.”

The victim said when he walked in front of the car, she accelerated and hit him, sending him over the hood and into the windshield, which shattered.
