Deputies went to a Lamberton residence to help search for a missing person. En route, they were informed the man had been found inside a grain bin. Investigation shows Kronback suffered fatal injuries while attempting to remove a small amount of grain from the bin.

(Dilworth, MN) — Senator Tina Smith helped secure $975,000 to construct a new fire station in Dilworth. The new station will double the size of the current facility and provide a safer space for firefighters and emergency responders. Smith visited the Dilworth Fire Hall Wednesday to see how construction progress was going. Once construction is finished, the second phase will include demolishing the old fire station. The new station is set to open by the end of summer 2025.

(Mille Lacs Lake, MN) — Anglers can begin pulling more walleye from Mille Lacs Lake beginning tomorrow. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says the limit will increase to two walleye per day. The rule requires one walleye to be between 18 and 20 inches long, while the other needs to be either the same size or over 28 inches long. The new rule is in effect through November 30th.
