The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office says deputies began searching Friday evening after finding the woman’s belongings and dog on the riverbank. The overnight search included drones, a State Patrol helicopter, K-9 teams, boats and the sheriff’s dive team. Around 7:15 a.m., people walking nearby heard the woman calling for help. She was found in the river, rescued, and taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato for treatment of minor injuries and exposure.
