(Industrial Township, MN) — A 56-year-old man from Saginaw(Sag-ih-naw)was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday evening in St. Louis County. Sheriff’s officials say the rider failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, entered the ditch, and appeared to overturn. Emergency crews attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family. The crash remains under investigation.

(Rochester, MN) – A Rochester woman is facing eight felony charges in connection with a Medicaid Fraud Scheme. 42-year-old Jessica Arneson is charged with theft by false representation and theft of public funds. Court documents show Arneson stole $185,000 while working as a Medicaid care coordinator for the Mower (mau-er) County Department of Health and Human Services in Austin. Officials say the crimes took place between 2020 and 2023.
