The North Star Fugitive Task Force says Charles Kincaid is charged with first-degree murder in a June 1st shooting at a party that killed one and injured eleven others. He will be returned to North Carolina. The North Star Fugitive Task Force includes the U.S. Marshal’s Service, various Twin Cities law enforcement agencies, ICE, and the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC).

(Blaine, MN) — A fifteen-year-old boy is in custody for his role in the Blaine mall shooting last week that killed a fourteen-year-old boy. No other information about his arrest is available. Officers responded to a Best Buy parking lot around 5:13 p.m. on Friday at Northtown Mall on a report of a person shot. They found Sudais Omar of Brooklyn Park with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was brought to Mercy Hospital, where he died. The 911 caller described three suspects who fled towards Sky Zone. One of them was found and identified as Ayub Mohamed, who is accused of aiding the other two suspects, who are both juveniles, ages fourteen and fifteen. The investigation is active.

(Mankato, MN) — Mankato police believe a missing fourteen-year-old girl is a runaway. Jocelyn Saarela was reported missing on Wednesday and is believed to have fled to Minneapolis. She’s described as being white, five feet ten inches tall, and weighing one hundred ten pounds, with long blonde hair that has red undertones and blue eyes. Saarela was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts. Anyone with information should call 9-1-1.
