A national survey puts M-S-P number three among the nation’s large airports for traveler satisfaction with security checkpoints. Scott Ludwigsen with Phoenix Marketing International says larger airports tend to lag behind, so when one rises to the top of their category, it means there’s “a lot of good things going on there.” Ludwigsen says people want to be able to find and get through security checkpoints quickly, and want staff that are professional and courteous. Only Tampa and Charlotte got better marks than M-S-P. Chicago’s O’Hare and the New York airports did not do nearly as well.
