N-Double-A-C-P leaders met with Governor Mark Dayton and Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges this afternoon about continuing unrest surrounding the police shooting of Jamar Clark. Leaving the Governor’s Residence, Mayor Hodges said “this was a conversation about what’s happening and what’s possible. It certainly wasn’t a conversation about, this is what we demand. It was a big-picture conversation about police-community relationships and what we can do moving forward.” N-A-A-C-P leaders are attending a vigil and rally this afternoon at the 4th Precinct police station in north Minneapolis.
