Officer Jason Moszer
The man who shot and mortally wounded Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer last night (Wed) has been identified as 49-year-old Marcus Schumacher. Fargo Police Chief Dave Todd says he believes Schumacher was targeting police. Todd says he doubts it was random, because a squad car was shot-up in a different location and then Officer Moszer was hit. After a long standoff, officers entered the home and found the suspect dead of a gunshot wound. It’s not known if he killed himself or was shot by an officer.
